CPT partners with Cuyahoga County Public Libraries to present special Goldstar, Ohio events

Join Cleveland Public Theatre and Cuyahoga County Public Library for two special events, in conjunction with CPT's presentation of Goldstar, Ohio, featuring Andy Paris, the play's director; Michael Tisdale, the playwright; actors from the company performing excerpts; a grief counselor from Cornerstone of Hope; and a representative from the Library of Congress' Veterans History Project, along with other special guests.

Cleveland Public Theatre presents the world premiere of Goldstar, Ohio, a new play by Cleveland native Michael Tisdale that tells the stories of the 22 Marines from the Brook Park, Ohio-based 325th Battalion who lost their lives in Iraq. Created from transcripts of interviews with the families of the fallen Marines, the play explores the intense pride of service and the painful cost of war.
