For nearly 25 years, Cleveland Public Theatre audiences have enjoyed adventurous, thought-provoking productions and they have been introduced to new work and the talents of local artists--all in an intimate, informal setting. This combination, which is so singularly CPT, would not be possible without the generous support of our donors--a special group of people. CPT donors nurture the performing arts as a vital part of our community and recognize the inherent value of theatre as a means to learn about ourselves, engage in civic dialogue, contemplate the present, and envision a better future.

Donors also support our life-changing educational programs that bring free theatre arts education and job training to underserved communities such as low income, high risk youth and men and women in recovery. And they make it possible for us to keep our ticket prices at levels accessible to all.

The best way to support CPT is to purchase tickets to our productions and special events. If we filled every seat, every night, the art would come close to paying for itself. We then could invest more time and energy into providing the community even more programming and services. If you love tonight's production, tell your friends - all of them. You are our best advertising!

Contribute your time and your talents
CPT has survived through the generosity and hard work of many talented people who have offered their expertise and services. Whether you are a graphic artist, chef, ceramicist, engineer - whatever you do, we can use your talents. Maybe you want to join us and learn something new! This is your chance to do something different. Contact our office and we will add you to our volunteer roster.

Donate Materials
CPT accepts direct donations of materials from individuals and businesses. We need lighting equipment, tools, appliances, wood and a variety of other items. If you are upgrading, closing your business or moving and have something you think we might need, contact the theatre at (216)631.2727. Your gift will be tax-deductible!
