The Santaland Diaries
CPT presents the return of The Santaland Diaries by David Sedaris, Adapted by Joe Mantello, Directed by Dan Kilbane, featuring Sean Booker as Crumpet the Elf. The Santaland Diaries will be presented in the Gordon Square Theatre from November 28 - December 20 (Preview November 28, Opening Night: Saturday, November 29).
The elf is back by popular demand! The Santaland Diaries is told from the perspective of a 33-year-old slacker who takes a job as Crumpet, a Macy's Christmas elf. As thousands of customers come through his display, our elf teaches parents and children the realities of holiday cheer. Sedaris' hilarious retelling of his unique experience in the throes of the holidays is sure to bring a smile to even the grouchiest face!
