A variety of performers, diverse in age, race, physical ability, background, and theatre experience.
About the festival…
Entry Point is a platform for artists to develop their work in the early stages of creation, and then share that work with the public in a festival forum. Entry Point activities include staged readings, short excerpts from works-in-progress, guest panel discussions, and facilitated feedback between artists and audience after every showing.
About the rehearsals…
Rehearsals will take place in the 2 weeks leading up to January 17 (roughly Jan 2 – Jan 16). Number of rehearsals will vary depending on what show you are involved with. Additionally, the type of rehearsal will depend on the nature of the project.
Runs January 17, 2019 – January 19, 2019, Thu/Fri/Sat at 7:00pm. CPT campus. Multiple venues.
Auditions…
Tuesday, November 27, 6-9pm
Sunday, December 2, 4-7pm
Auditions are by appointment only. You can schedule for a one (1) hour slot on either Tue 11/27 OR Sun 12/2.
What to prepare…
- One minute monologue and if desired 16 bars of an a capella song
- Headshot and Résumé
