About the Musical…

This dark musical comedy is a celebration of the not-so-happy ways in which we persevere, grow, and change – whether we want to or not. Friendships are challenged, buddies die, and everybody drinks. Cheers. World Premiere.

Looking to cast…

Jackson* (African American Male) – late 20’s, early 30’s, a go-getter. Awkward yet loveable. Craves success and connection.
Pablo* (Caucasian Male) – late 20’s, early 30’s, a struggling musician. Charming. And kind of a jerk. Is not Hispanic. His real name is Sam.
*Ability to play instrument(s) a plus

All other roles have been cast. Equity Agreements are not available for this production.

About the process…

Rehearsals for this production will begin in early August and will be 4-5 weekday evenings and one 5-6 hour rehearsal on the weekends. Because Pandemonium, CPT’s annual benefit, falls in the middle of the rehearsal period, there will be a two-week break inside the rehearsal process. Tech will be the weekend of October 12. This production will have two public preview performances October 20 & 25, and will then rehearse until the opening night on Friday, October 26. Performances will be in the James Levin Theatre on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Mondays at 7:00pm, October 20 – November 10.

Audition…

Saturday, June 9 from 12pm-4pm. Actors should be prepared to stay for one hour.
Callbacks: Sunday, June 10 from 6pm-10pm. Actors should be prepared to stay for the duration.

Auditions are by appointment only and will be scheduled in 5-minute increments. Actors will be sent sides to prepare. Actors should prepare a short a cappella song.
