Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) Cleveland Act Now (CAN) 2021 Spring Session

March 8-April 22, 2021

Mondays & Thursdays | 4:00-5:30pm

Who: Any young person, age 7-13, who is currently living in a Cleveland Municipal Housing Authority community.

Format: Virtual (via Zoom)

What: Under the guidance of CPT Teaching Artists, young artists learn how to create and perform their own plays, dance, poetry, music, and visual art. Youth participating in the CMHA CAN 2021 Spring Session will present a recording of an original performance that presents multiple artistic disciplines for Cleveland Public Theatre’s virtual Station Hope event, which will be broadcast on Saturday, May 1, 2021. CPT’s Station Hope is a one-night event of entertainment and art inspired by the history of St. John’s Episcopal Church and the Underground Railroad, the repercussions of oppression, and contemporary struggles for social justice.
